What does money really have to do with it?

With schools, it costs money, especially with small classes. Money helps schools with teacher salaries, support, books, supplies, food, and supplies. If schools did not get funded they would not be able to buy textbooks for students. Also if schools did not have money they would not get many teachers to teach so which is a disadvantage for the students. If schools want a high-functioning school they have to use the money to help students get the recourses they need. I personally went to a school that did not get much money funded, we did not have many textbooks so we either had to buy them ourselves or share the ones they had. Not every student is able to buy textbooks so that puts the students at a disadvantage, every student should get the chance to learn and have the recourses they need. Also, we did not have many teachers so they had teachers teaching some subjects that they did not know much about so our test scores were low. Teachers need to be paid equally as well so they can do their job. The school I went to also did not have much money for food, so our food was low quality. Most students just brought lunch from home since the food was so bad. Also, classrooms did not have many chairs or desks so it is necessary to be able to have chairs, desks, and textbooks for every student so everyone has a fair chance of getting educated.
